Marina2Stay was developed for water sports enthusiasts who want to find a berth quickly and reliably while on the water. The app uses GPS to show you exactly where you’re sailing, which marinas are nearby, and what facilities they offer. You no longer need to search multiple websites or guess whether there’s space available. Everything is clearly displayed on a single map.
The strength of Marina2Stay lies in the combination of navigation and booking. You’ll see not only marinas but also navigation information such as bridges, locks, buoys, and other markers. From the same map, you can directly select a marina, view information, and—if available—reserve and pay for a berth.
Information for marinas that use e-Captain is always up to date. These marinas manage their own data and can process online bookings. This means that as a visiting boater, you always know exactly where you stand.
In the Netherlands, there are approximately 800,000 to 1.2 million overnight stays by visiting boaters each year, and there are over 700 to 900 locations where you can spend the night on a boat. Marina2Stay brings this selection together and makes it clear and accessible while you’re on the water.
When you open the app, you’ll immediately see the water map showing your current position. The map moves with your location, so you always know where you are and what’s nearby. You can choose which information to display, such as bridges, locks, buoys, and other navigation data.
Marinas are displayed on the map. By tapping a marina, you’ll open the details page with all available information. Here you’ll see amenities, rates, photos, and additional details about the surrounding area.
If the marina supports online reservations, you can book a berth right away. You select your desired date, confirm your reservation, and pay via iDEAL - Wero. After payment, you’ll receive a confirmation, and the marina will be notified of your arrival.
The app is designed so that you have to perform as few actions as possible while sailing. The map serves as the central hub from which you manage everything.
