Privacy Policy

Dispi bv attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data. We do everything we can to safeguard your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Dispi bv complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. This means that, in any event, we will:

WHY DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data is processed by Dispi bv for the following purposes:

  1. To enable you to use Marina2Stay;
  2. To send newsletters and invitations;
  3. To issue invoices;
  4. To send information regarding updates;
  5. To answer questions regarding the use of Marina2Stay;
  6. To enable you to make use of your membership, our community, the internet portal, forms or any of our other services;
  7. To inform you about your data and usage and, based on this, to provide you with tips on how to save money and/or switch providers;
  8. To comply with legal obligations, such as those under the Financial Supervision Act (Wft).
  9. To advise you on and assist with the use of Marina2Stay or other dispi bv products, and to help you with support enquiries.
  10. To process your enquiry, request for advice, complaint or other matter concerning Marina2Stay, or your response to information from Marina2Stay.
  11. To contact you regarding your enquiry, advice, complaint or other matter because we wish to investigate it or publish (anonymised) information about it.
  12. To find out which topics are of interest to our users and thus determine which products or services we will test or review.
  13. To communicate with you by sending electronic newsletters and/or post.
  14. To be able to offer you personalised adverts and content.
  15. To send you personalised newsletters based on your interests.
  16. To process your data for potential participation in promotions, so that we can contact you if you have won a prize.
  17. To answer and/or deal with your enquiries, advice requests, complaints or other matters via social media, email, post or telephone.

For the purposes set out above, we may ask you for the following personal data: company name and full address, contact person, email address and sector.


DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We may disclose the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil the purposes described above.
We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a data processing agreement. We naturally make the necessary arrangements with these parties (data processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not disclose the data you provide to other parties, unless this is required and permitted by law. An example of this is where the judicial authorities or the police request (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case, we are required to cooperate and are therefore obliged to provide this data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us your written consent to do so. We never disclose personal data to parties based outside the EU.


RETENTION PERIOD

Dispi bv does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.


SECURITY

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing; for example, we have taken the following measures:

  • Any persons acting on behalf of Dispi or a subsidiary who may have access to your data are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
  • We operate a username and password policy on all our systems;
  • we pseudonymise and always ensure the encryption of personal data;
  • we make backups of personal data so that it can be restored in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • we regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • our staff are informed of the importance of protecting personal data.


RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR DATA

You have the right to access, rectify or erase the personal data we have received from you. You may also object to our processing of your personal data (or part thereof). You also have the right to request that we transfer the data you have provided to you. We may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can comply with the aforementioned requests.


COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, please contact us directly. We would, of course, be very sorry if we were unable to resolve the matter with you. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
